Hello, talented people! I am looking to interview theatrical professionals with experience in productions that combine live theatre and digital media for my master’s project. I am an American student studying at Birmingham School of Acting in England.
My research explores the marriage of digital technology and live theatre with a focus on the acting process. As technology evolves from being a means to control lights and sound to becoming an integral part of the performance, the actor must also evolve. Despite a variety of resources on the evolution and relevance of such productions and experiments, there remains a lack of published resources to help performers understand how to adapt their acting process to these technologies. My project seeks to fill that gap.
