By using various technologies, such as video projection, automated lighting and robotics, artists can dramatically enhance virtual time, persona and space.
TimeWave workshops will cover various disciplines, such as staging and dramaturgy. Artists will be given opportunities to do hands-on experimentation. Workshops for theatre practitioners will run from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm for five days.

TimeWave will offer children ages 10 to 17 with opportunities to participate in the festival. Led by LoNyLa London artists, a series of workshops will encourage children to learn technology skills, such as manipulating images with software, shooting video and recording sound, and to apply these skills in the performing arts.
Children’s workshops will run for two hours each – the first hour dedicated to teaching technology skills and the second to using these skills in a creative format.

Industry panels will expose theatre practitioners and audiences to concepts, such as the use of social media for marketing, relevant to the performing arts. Video conferencing will enable remote experts to participate on panels.
