On Monday, November 26th, LoNyLa/Velocity Lab UK presents a rehearsed reading / online broadcast of
"POSSE," a one-hour TV pilot by Derek Olson. Directed by Wilson Milam.


Featuring: Matthew Barker (“Peter Hollis”), Francesca Bailey (“Emily”), Ed Hancock (“Sonny”), David Schall (“Gus”), Matthew Vere (“Hardigan”), Thomas Craig (“Sheriff Pugh”), Jacqueline King (“Mrs Pugh”), Susan Lay (“Emily”), Nathan Clarke (“Henry Gardnhire”), Andy McKeane (Narrator 1), Alexis McDougall (Narrator 2), Leigh Quinn (Narrator 3). Please note that actors may double in roles.

Derek OlsonA feedback session will be conducted between London and Los Angeles post broadcast.

The lunch-time viewing on the west coast will be hosted by Derek Olson.

Derek Olson was born in San Mateo, California. After graduating from Yale he moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in film and television. His TV writing credits include ABC’S THE UNUSUALS and NBC/DIRECTV’S FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS. He loves American history and racing triathlons.

Wilson Milam is a veteran director whose numerous credits include a Tony nomination for Martin McDonagh’s “Lieutenant of Inishmore” on Broadway, “A Perfect Future” (Cherry Lane Theatre), “God of Carnage” (Seattle Rep/Alley Theatre, Houston), “.45” (Hampstead Theatre), “Glengarry Glen Ross” (Seattle Rep), “The Seafarer” (Seattle Rep) and “Othello” (Shakespeare’s Globe). 

Velocity Lab 2012 links professional creative teams in different regions of the world to develop new material for stage, film and television.

By using broadcasting and telepresence / videoconferencing technology, this cross-border collaborative lab enables artists to interact with other artists of various cultures as well as access remote audiences via the Internet. 
Participating cities include London, New York, Los Angeles, Berlin and Singapore.
