GoodnightSeries

Turn up the volume. We're keeping it quiet to say goodnight. The “Goodnight Series” is an ongoing programming initiative from LoNyLa LA, Artistic Director MacLeod Andrews and Producer Alexis Carra.

The aim is simple: When it is “bedtime” at one hub - ex. London - there will be a short goodnight broadcast in which a member of one of the other hubs - ex. Los Angeles - will film a lullaby, story, poem, prayer or any other goodnight tiding that was or is personally relevant to his or her life.

It could be stories from your childhood or from interaction with your children or something new that you’d like to share.

Lullabies and bedtime stories are deeply rooted in our emotional consciousness. They are nostalgic, personal, and culturally relevant. This initiative is to be undertaken in the spirit of gifting and will be an open format.

Give your goodnight wishes in whatever form you like. It is quick; production is simple. We hope to encourage members to grow comfortable with broadcasting.

Most importantly, it is a way for us to get to know one another around the world!

According to members' preferences, the Goodnight videos may be posted on LoNyLa.com (public) and/or LoNyLa.net (private) for other members to view and enjoy.

If you want to record your Goodnight video and learn how to broadcast, please send a mail to [email protected] and someone from the LoNyLa teams - London, NY, LA, Singapore, Hong Kong - will help you. We will also be scheduling skype sessions to teach LoNyLa members how to broadcast.
